Position Summary

Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN / LPN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. In collaboration with the physician, the LVN/LPN ensures the implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

Position Qualifications

• Valid temporary or permanent CA State Practical/Vocational Nurse License.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, dedication to quality patient care, and sound judgment in decision-making.
• CPR certification required. EKG (Advanced 12 Lead for Medical Professionals), valid ACLS, IV and Blood withdrawal certifications required within six months of hire.
• Ability to maintain assigned work hours and endurance to perform tasks over long periods.

• Responsibilities to the patient, unit staff, and self.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to the corporate appearance policy.
• Wear hospital-issued nametag at all times while on duty.
• Conduct oneself ethically at all times and uphold all service standards.
