This includes promoting positive behaviour, encouraging independence, building confidence, and contributing to personalised support strategies that enable learners to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Lionheart Educational Trust is a well‐established and successful family of seventeen schools across Leicestershire. We are committed to delivering high‐quality education and inclusive support within each of our schools, ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and valued. Our schools benefit from strong Trust‐wide support and effective local governance, enabling ongoing development and improvement.

We welcome applications from enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are committed to supporting students from all backgrounds and abilities, and who are eager to make a positive difference to the lives of young people at The Newbridge School.

We currently have staff networks for staff who are Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer + (LGBTQ+), staff who would describe their background as working class and staff with a disability.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification, job description and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
