Maintenance Engineer

Jelly Technical are looking for Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias for a manufacturing business in Coalville where you will be working in a fast paced, automated environment maintaining the production machinery.

You will have a strong background as a maintenance engineer working in manufacturing environments, you will be working across all equipment including PLC diagnostics.

Role and responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role

Reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Diagnose faults using PLC and HMI interfaces.
Repair electrical power and control systems.
Undertake routine site facilities and utilities checks.
Conduct root cause analysis on recurring faults.
Maintain accurate records using the site CMMS.
Support commissioning of new production equipment.

Qualifications and experience required for this Maintenance Engineer role

NVQ Level 3 minimum in Electrical Engineering.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

Experience with PLC fault finding.
Previously worked within a manufacturing environment.
Competence in reading electrical schematics.
Experience applying Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
