Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £56,000 plus overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) and pension
Location: Coalville
Shifts: 4‑day and 5‑day days and nights
OverviewAn exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer in a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated factory. The role offers a chance to develop both technical and managerial career paths within a fast‑paced industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on fully automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency.
- Modify PLC programmes as required.
- Perform pre‑planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced factory setting.
- Multi‑skilled maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault‑finding.
- Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
- Experience working in a UK manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLCs and ability to fault‑find using inputs and outputs.
- Working for a recognised market‑leading business.
