We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team based at our Coalville site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong grounding in finance who is looking to build their experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Working closely with colleagues across operations, you’ll support key financial and operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports with meaningful insight into variances, trends, and business outcomes.
- Deliver detailed analysis and commentary on financial and operational performance versus targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand business drivers, provide financial insight, and support cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Review and enhance financial processes and controls to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Leverage operational and financial data to identify opportunities for profitability and productivity improvements.
- Support ad‑hoc financial tasks and strategic projects, including scenario modelling, business case development, and systems enhancements.
- Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills with the ability to influence non‑financial stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a hands‑on approach
- Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software
