Waking Night Support Worker - Children's Residential
Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to join our client's Children's Residential Home as a Waking Night Support Worker. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Coalville, Leicestershire.
This post includes a Night Shift Premium allowance to recognise the unsociable hours, which is an addition to the advertised salary.

Key Responsibilities
Build trust and develop nurturing relationships that promote the childrens's independence, well-being, strengths, and capabilities.
Work in partnership with carers and other professionals.
Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning.
Document information accurately and ensure records are up to date.
Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe environment at all times.
Essential Requirements
Please ensure you demonstrate the following in your application:
You must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve it within the required timeframe.
Relevant experience working with children and young people and their families.
A good understanding of safeguarding and the protection of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
Flexibility to commit to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Night staff are expected to be available during the day, with advance notice, to attend scheduled mandatory training and group supervision sessions. While your base location will be Welland House, you must be flexible to travel to other homes in Hinckley, Coalville, Mountsorrel, Braunstone, and Syston if needed.
Salary, Benefits, and Application Information
Salary: £26,142.40 - £29,463.72 + Night Shift Premium allowance
