Quality Manager

Quality Manager / QHSE Manager, £60K - £65K, Commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham

• Successful and profitable product development and manufacturing organisation, part of a global group with sites in the UK, USA, and Far East.
• Salary guide of £60K - £65K + bonus, pension, family private medical insurance, 25 days holiday and all bank holidays.

• Role is 90–95% focused on quality management, 5–10% on health, safety, and environmental management.

• Take ownership and lead on Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO
  9001, 14001 and specific industry standards).
• 90%—95% focus on quality management with a strong focus on supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality.
• Leadership and ongoing development of a small team (3 people – Quality Engineer and Quality Technicians).
• Develop strong working relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to influence quality management best practice throughout the business.

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager, QHSE Manager, or similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO
  9001 quality management system; additional experience of ISO
  14001 is advantageous.
• Strong focus on building internal and external relationships (customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing & supply chain teams) and driving quality management best practice.
• Ability to understand the ethos, culture and values of a SME UK manufacturing business and align QHSE (specifically quality management) accordingly.

Job is commutable from Leicester, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Loughborough, Hinckley, Derby, Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Tamworth, Long Eaton, Nuneaton, Lutterworth.
