This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coatbridge for a Skilled Operative – Surfacing role. The responsibilities include operating machinery and tools for road surfacing and general construction activities. The position requires performing site preparation, loading and unloading materials, adherence to safety protocols, and contributing to the overall delivery of high-quality work on various civil engineering projects.

• Experience in road surfacing, including asphalt or tar application, and operating relevant machinery.
• Knowledge of construction site safety and ability to follow health and safety protocols rigorously.
• Teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work individually and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
• A valid driving license is required; relevant construction or machinery certifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with industry standards are beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform under deadlines.
