General Practitioner; GP or sessions

Newly created role, in addition to our full complement of staff. We would love to recruit some additional sessions to enhance access for our patients, and help with holiday periods. Up to 8 sessions are available, and we would be happy to consider two part time roles of 4 sessions.

In this role you will enjoy: a kind and supportive environment; eight weeks of annual leave; ongoing support from our experienced Partners; and access to our multi-disciplined team. Our direct team includes: 3 GP Partners, 1 long-term GP Locum, 2 Prescribing Nurses, a Prescribing Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Technician. We have regular sessions from an ANP to help with house calls, Mental Health Nurse, Community Link Worker and Occupational Therapist.

We are further supported by a community team of District Nurses, Treatment Room Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives and Physiotherapy, all easily accessible within the Health Centre. Our Business Manager is actively involved in locality discussions and pro-active in adopting Practice Improvement.

Our GP’s are supported by a highly effective administration team, who process most of the incoming paperwork, leaving our Doctors paper light. We use the clinical systems Vision, Docman and Accurx to communicate and video consult with Patients if the need were to arise.

We are looking for a progressive, professional, and courteous Doctor, to become a permanent member of our team, and get involved in generating ideas for the future of our Practice.
