Senior Pharmacy Support Worker ()

Substantive Full Time – 36 hours per week. Band 3 salary range £29,103 to £31,409 per annum. Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum.

Join the pharmacy team as a Senior Pharmacy Support Worker (SPSW). The post holder will work alongside pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure medicines are provided safely and efficiently within the hospital, vaccination centre, and other NHS sites.

• Receiving and distributing medicines.
• Stock management.
• Dispensing medicines.
• Supporting the vaccine service.
• Homecare provision.
• Procurement duties.
• Providing top‑up service to wards and departments.
• Date checking.
• Cleaning duties.
• Administrative tasks such as filing.

• SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level
  6) or equivalent.
• Three Standard Grades, including English and Mathematics, and at least one other subject (considered for a training post).
• Previous hospital experience is desirable.
