Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Join Our Team and Make a Difference! We are currently seeking a Specialist Catering Technician to join our dedicated team at the Coatbridge branch, covering the South East London area. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry‑leading training. Role:Specialist Catering Technician
In this role, you will carry out a variety of hygiene cleaning services within the catering industry, including commercial kitchen cleaning and ventilation cleaning. All of our Technicians are professionally trained in each product and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing tasks reactively in a fast‑paced business where work can change from week to week
- Participating in an on‑call rota
- Providing valuable advice to customers when required
- Delivering exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Previous experience working in a kitchen/catering cleaning role is advantageous
- Experience working with specialist cleaning chemicals is preferred
- May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for
- Competitive salary package: start with a basic salary of £26,655 per annum, plus £2,000 night‑shift allowance and £2,000 location allowance
- Expected OTE: £30,000–£38,000 per annum, with bonus and commission schemes available

- Relocation package: up to £5,000 for moves from more than two hours away
- Full‑time, permanent role, Monday to Friday (40‑hour week), potential for up to 48 hours with an increased salary
