Plater / Fabricator, Coatbridge, x5 positions available, Unlimited Overtime (1.5x), Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

* Fabricate and assemble large steel structures to high standards

* Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Use a variety of hand tools, burning equipment, and fabrication machinery

* Carry out marking, cutting, bending, and rolling of steel as required

* Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely

* Work collaboratively with welders and other trades on site

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations

Experience & Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

* Proven experience as a Plater, Fabricator, or similar role in a heavy engineering or structural steel environment

* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

* Experience working with heavy steel and large fabrications

* Skilled in using cutting, grinding, and forming tools and machinery

* Familiar with workshop health and safety practices

* Ability to work to tight tolerances with minimal supervision

* Experience using overhead cranes (Desirable: Crane operator ticket)

* NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent qualification (preferred)

* Ability to work both day and night shifts as required
