Junior Staff Nurse

Ready to make a real difference on every single shift? We’re looking for a newly qualified/ about to qualify Junior Staff Nurse to join our care home team in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire
, working day shift
. This is a hands-on role where your clinical judgement, compassion, and confidence will help deliver safe, effective, person-centred nursing care for residents.

• Assess residents’ needs and turn them into clear, tailored care plans
• Review and update care plans as residents’ needs change
• Administer medication and treatments in line with professional guidance
• Keep clinical records accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
• Monitor health and act quickly when something needs attention
• Support residents and reassure families with warmth and professionalism
• Work closely with the wider team to keep care consistent and well-coordinated
• Keep improving through training, learning, and professional development

• You’re a Registered Nurse with a
  NMC Pin/ About to receive one
• You communicate clearly and respectfully (with residents, families, and colleagues)
• You’re approachable, resident-focused, and genuinely care about getting it right
• You can work well on your own and just as well as part of a team
• Previous care home experience is desirable, but your attitude and ability matter most

• £18 per hour/ increased once passed probation
• Full-time contract (33 - 44 hours per week)
