This role is ideal for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent, long-term work. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, Trunk Driver, Trunking Driver, Store Delivery Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Tramper Driver . Shifts
• Monday to Friday (Weekend Work Available)
• AM Starts Between 02:00 – 08:00 Rates of Pay • £16.98 per hour (Monday to Friday) • £22.59 per hour (Overtime) Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive the following benefits:

• Employee Wellbeing Programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Completing Class 1 trunking and store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Operating Category CE vehicles safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly before transport
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Adhering to UK road transport legislation and tachograph regulations
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
• Assisting with loading and unloading where required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
• A valid UK Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• A good understanding of UK road traffic laws and transport legislation
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Desirable Experience
• Previous Class 1 trunking experience
• Previous store delivery experience
• Previous commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience Training Provided
• Driver assessment required prior to starting
• One-day paid induction following a successful assessment
