We’re looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice you will be enrolled on the Kids Planet Training Academy training programme to gain a qualification in Early Years.

• Learn how to support, care for, and inspire children during their earliest years, from birth to age five
• Understand and practice safeguarding measures to protect children in your care
• Work as part of a successful, collaborative team
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families through open communication
• Liaise with parents on matters relating to the most important person in their children’s world

• Meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of three years
• Pass the maths and English entry assessments

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.

Kids Planet is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well‑being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, and all staff and volunteers must complete safeguarding training as part of their responsibilities. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions and the role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.
