Registered Nurse (Days). Dalton Court Care Home
- Salary: £23.65 per hour
- Contracted hours: 38.5 hours per week, 3 to 4 shifts per week
- Shift patterns: 8am – 8pm
- Welcome bonus: £1,000 (subject to terms)

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for part‑time hours with consistent daytime shifts? Dalton Court, our friendly 60‑bed home in the lovely town of Cockermouth, provides high‑quality Nursing, Dementia and Palliative care in a warm, homely setting. We are seeking a dedicated Part‑Time Nurse to join our daytime clinical team and help us deliver exceptional care to our residents.

As a Registered Nurse (Days), you will:- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to meet each resident’s individual needs.
- Support residents through their daytime routines, promoting safety, comfort and wellbeing.
- Administer medication and undertake clinical monitoring with care and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure continuity and excellence in care.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to their development and confidence.
- Registered General Nurses (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN)
- Registered Nurse with a passion for high‑quality care
- Nursing home experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, team‑focused approach
Availability to work part‑time day shifts, including some weekends where required
- Fully funded renewal of your NMC PIN
