Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma, Manufacturing Engineer
Drive and sustain improvement programs and CI initiatives such as:
Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis, Process Optimization, Waste Reduction, OEE/Productivity, SMED (Quick Changeovers). Facilitate blitzes/kaizens to support the SQDC initiatives. Perform time studies for manual activities on a regular basis. Design and continuously improve workstations layout and personnel arrangement. Facilitate changes to workstations layout and new machinery, requiring manual activities and need to improve personnel abilities. Perform routes and BOM’s studies and provide data to Master Data coordinator.
Design and implement fixtures and devices to improve manual activities safety, ergonomics and efficiencies.

- Root Cause Analysis, Waste Reduction, and OEE/Productivity assessment; documenting and conducting Time Studies in a manufacturing setting;
AutoCAD; applying LEAN methodologies and FMEA analysis in a manufacturing setting; SAP environment and data integration management;
Agile Methodology;
Project Management; and MS Suite. - Ensures the necessary skills, tools and resources are in place to facilitate the optimization of performance. Acts as an important Change Agent, Champion for Culture Change and Process Transformation, while driving Continuous Improvement.
- Possess strong leadership and influence skills to solve complex problems with an emphasis on improving quality, compliance, service, and business financials.
- Responsible for providing technical knowledge and support using the Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
- Manages difficult manufacturing processes and problems using sound methodology.
- Comprehends and fully applies new technology developments.
- Oversees (directly or indirectly) technical and/or engineering personnel assigned to Continuous Improvement projects. Provides technical support and coaching/mentoring to the team.
- Designs and leads the implementation of the continuous improvement strategy throughout the organization including:
- Development of appropriate metrics and measuring systems.
- Facilitation of cost savings (A3) Process.
- Lead Continuous improvement Project Management.
- Strengthening multi‑functional representation, engagement, accountability, ownership, and communication.
- Supports leadership in meeting business goals, including identifying and prioritizing the right business opportunities.
- Reviews ongoing performance trends to drive an overall improvement and consistency in manufacturing line output.
- Collaborates with managers/leaders to identify each department’s top priorities and determine best methods for driving process and culture change.
- Communicates business‑related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
- Implements systematic problem solving /root cause analysis process.
- Participates in new product introductions and product transfers ensuring waste is identified and eliminated.
- Engages, trains and coaches all employees to become active champions of the process.

Bachelor’s degree in a Core Engineering field - Required:
Five+ (5+) years of Operational Excellence experience in a regulated manufacturing environment - Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) - Preferred:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
