We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Battery Test Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and performance of battery systems. As a Battery Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineers to improve battery technology. Your expertise will help to enhance product reliability and safety, making a significant impact on our research and development efforts.

- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electro-chemistry and battery technologies.
- Ability to read blueprints and material specifications.
- Experience with laboratory testing and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, IR testers, thermocouple meters, etc.).
- Proficiency in data analysis software and documentation tools and general computer skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High voltage DC training will be provided.
- Conduct routine tests on battery cells and systems to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety.
- Document test results accurately and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop testing protocols and improve methodologies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to battery performance and provide solutions.
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.
- Analyze and interpret data using software tools and statistical methods.
- Support research and development by testing new battery prototypes and materials.
- May require some work to be done in a dry room atmosphere (low humidity, air conditioned)
