Position summary: Responsible for managing Construction Inspection business in assigned region.

The annual salary range for this position is $ - $. Salary range is based upon background, education, level of experience and project assignment.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Responsible for marketing and business development for transportation construction projects and project control projects
• Manages contracts, including invoicing and financial management
• Responsible for project QA/QC in the assigned region.
• Maintains and builds client relationships
• Prepare technical and price proposals
• Hires, trains, develops, and conducts performance reviews for staff
• Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team.

Nonessential functions and responsibilities:

• Assists design disciplines with constructability questions/issues
• Review Construction cost estimates for various design disciplines
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle Screening

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience working in the CM/CI or engineering field

Qualifications preferred:

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
• Professional Engineering license
• Experience working with local clients

Working Conditions:

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Travel required.
