Sr. Transportation Structural Project Engineer - Hunt Valley, MD (onsite)

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Structural Engineer to be responsible for all aspects of design for transportation structures projects. This senior level position is responsible for managing the structural design of a wide range of project sizes and complexity.

• Design of new and rehabilitation bridge projects
• Ability to meet project schedules and maintain quality standards
• Maintain project scopes and budgets
• Preparation of contract bid documents and managing construction phase services
• Coordination with sub consultants
• Leading design engineers and drafting personnel
• Converse with clients and establish relationships.

• Ability to manage the structural design of engineering and construction projects of varying levels of complexity, and scope
• Knowledge of structural design principles for steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete for structure components
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• 12-20 years of relevant experience in structural design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland.
• Experience with AASHTO LRFD bridge design.
• Experience working with Maryland Department of Transportation.

• MS in Civil Engineering
• 6 years of experience leading design engineers and drafting personnel.
