Reporting to our VP, Finance, playing an integral part of our Finance department, the Finance Officer is responsible for Asset Liability Management reporting and modeling, as well as investment portfolio oversight, projections and this role, the Finance Officer will:
Be responsible for Asset Liability Management (ALM) reporting and modeling.
Manage the investment portfolio, makes purchase recommendations, projections and responsible for the preparation of multi-center monthly / quarterly / annual budgets.
Assist with general ledger reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts, preparation of journal entries, month end close and production of monthly financial statements and reports.
Assist with reporting and analysis of credit union activity and accounting records.
Assist with preparation of audit materials and provides assistance to auditors and examiners.
Prepare a variety of specialized financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
Assist with the following department functions on an as needed basis; employee timecards, escalated issues, etc.
Prepare the quarterly NCUA Call Report.
Serve as back up for other department functions.
After successfully completing introductory six months fully onsite, this position is eligible to participate in our hybrid work schedule (up to two days per week remote) at the discretion of the VP, Finance.
This position is in our exempt paygrade 12 ($80,000 - $98,000 annual salary, based on experience).To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree.
5-8 years of similar or related experience.
Knowledge of banking / credit union industry, fixed income markets and Asset Liability Management.
Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PC Proficient, excellent technological skills, preferred.
