Occupational Therapist Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

Overview

Temah Healthcare Services Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is a psychiatric rehabilitation program located in Baltimore County. We are looking for a part-time or full-time licensed mental health professional for our Rehabilitation Specialist position. Our ideal candidate will have strong people skills and be able to work independently.

• Managing medical records and requesting records from outside agencies
• Completing and tracking individual rehabilitation plans and obtaining authorizations for services
• Review of client services to meet COMAR and billable standards; supervising PRP counselors
• Checking for note corrections and releasing notes; scheduling new referrals and completing intake assessments
• Keeping regular contact with PRP counselors
• Mediating client complaints
• Aiding in the rehabilitation of our clients
• Attending weekly management staff meetings
• Training rehabilitation counselors

• Thorough understanding of clinical documentation
• Working understanding of COMAR regulations for outpatient mental health and clinical documentation
• Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Full understanding of ethics in clinical care and crisis intervention
• Master s degree required
• Must be a licensed social worker, counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
• Required license or certification:
  Occupational Therapist

• Part-time (20 hrs/week) OR full-time (40 hrs/week)
