• Greet and register patients when they enter the practice, serving as the first point of contact for scheduling and arrivals.
• Handle all front‑desk operations, including scheduling, answering phones, scanning medical records, and triaging patient phone calls for severity/importance.
• Collect insurance information and verify benefits, as well as enter charges and process payments.
• Travel as needed.
• Support Mercy Medical Center’s mission by upholding confidentiality and treating patients with dignity and compassion.

• Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred:
    One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT‑Paramedic.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal tactfully with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Strong personal integrity, flexibility, and team orientation.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
