Position Summary:
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage service during hotel-hosted events such as weddings, conferences, and corporate meetings. This role ensures guests receive exceptional service while maintaining banquet standards and cleanliness throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
Set up banquet rooms and tables according to banquet event orders (BEOs)
Serve food and beverages during events in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner
Clear tables, remove service items, and reset rooms as needed throughout the event
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas
Assist with the setup and breakdown of buffets, food stations, and bar areas
Communicate effectively with kitchen and banquet team for smooth service flow
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ensure proper handling of all hotel equipment and report any maintenance issues
Respond to guest needs and requests promptly and professionally
Work collaboratively with the Banquet Captain and other servers to execute event plans
