Aboutthe Role
As a Global Technology Trainer, you will be responsible for identifying training service requirements through training needs analysis, training requests, technology initiatives, general analysis, outreach, feedback, and service desk reports. Other key responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance and training to end users for firm-approved applications in a variety of different methods (e.g. classroom, one on one, video, online eLearning systems, and remote training), including M365 Office Suite, MS Teams, iManage 10, Intapp Time (DTE), and other programs as deemed necessary
- Preparing training documentation, handouts, outlines, instructions, video, and other materials as needed
- Working with business services team members in the office and across other departments to identify training needs, creating classes designed to promote learning and the most effective use of technology
- Building a comprehensive knowledge of the workflow, applications, and practices of lawyers and other employees to support the delivery of consultative training
- Evaluating and customizing trainings in order to meet the specific needs for new hire and onboarding training, technology rollout training, or ongoing education initiatives
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills using a variety of media and expert technical writing skills
- Possess good presentation skills, along with the ability to deliver presentations to an audience for instructional purposes
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Degree level education or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Education, Information Systems, Teaching or related learning or technology field preferred; a minimum of five (5) years’ of related job experience considered in lieu of a degree; experience working within the legal, professional services, or financial sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
- A minimum of five (5) years of software training experience
- A Microsoft Certified Trainer certification or an equivalent adult learning and development certification (e.g. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is preferred
