Machine Operator - 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm Mon to Fri (Urgent Need)

We’re hiring for a 12-month, full-time contract position at a leading medical devices company located in Hunt Valley, MD.

• Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday‑Friday
• Experience Level: Entry Level (1‑2 years of machine operation acceptable)
• Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens, Green‑Card holders, or eligible work‑permit holders such as EAD, OPT, CPT)
• Hours: 40 hrs per week, 12 months duration

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO 9000.
• Work effectively in a team setting and support team goals and objectives.
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
• Follow standard operating procedures under direct supervision.
• Assist in rotating to different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Be punctual and flexible for any extended or after‑shift hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in machine operation or a related skill area; ability to develop skills in basic tasks and techniques.
• Basic knowledge to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Effective communication skills in English at a level understandable to co‑workers and supervisors.
• Ability to read, write, interpret specifications, and perform basic math calculations.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
