Responsibilities- Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
- Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between to solve problems and build trusted relationships, ensuring homes and families are protected.
- Listen to needs and clearly explain practical solutions, winning over customers with confidence and care.
- Earn top wages, recognition, and opportunities for annual award trips.
- Serve as a problem solver for customers using in‑depth training to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer’s needs.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, supported by a robust advertising budget.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training provided.
- Make recommendations based on inspection and issues identified; address questions, explain the process, and set expectations.
- Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad (training provided).

- Compensation from $60,000 USD to $80,000 USD per year (base + commissions).

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers.
- No experience required—we’ll train you.
- We will consider all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
