Personal Risk Specialist

USI Insurance Services is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage risk solutions for high‑net‑worth clients. The role focuses on business development, cross‑selling, and client relationship management in a dynamic, results‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and visit high net worth individuals to assess lifestyle, concerns, and insurance needs.
  • Provide consultative advice and tailor personal risk management solutions accordingly.
  • Achieve annualized new business sales goals within the target market.
  • Develop lists of prospective centers of influence and lead sources; engage partners such as lawyers, financial professionals, realtors, etc.
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect‑specific basis.
  • Design and deploy sales and marketing strategies, including periodic communications, to strengthen the company’s market position.
  • Engage external centers of influence to prospect, engage and serve clients as a value‑added partner.
  • Build strong working relationships with commercial lines and employee benefits staff.
  • Act as trusted partner and advisor to clients and prospects.
  • Develop and support cross‑selling strategies for existing and new client relationships.
  • Participate in, and where necessary lead, meetings with clients.
  • Maintain prospect data, develop client lists, and track activities in USI’s CRM and sales tracking programs.
  • Prepare proposals, research, and present individualized insurance programs to prospects.
  • Maintain flexible schedule, including evening hours when required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years in high net worth or personal insurance sales or service.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Personal lines insurance industry experience.
  • Availability to travel 50% or more.
  • Teamwork skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, organized, with a strong drive to meet sales targets.
  • Customer service skills applicable to the sales process.
  • Strong knowledge of carriers and the personal insurance marketplace.
  • Commitment to mutual objectives of the Personal Insurance Practice and regional office.
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active property/casualty license required or obtainable within 60 days.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Benefits & Compensation

Competitive base salary of $80,000–$115,000 plus commissions, incentives, and robust benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, disability, life insurance, paid family leave, paid holidays, and wellness programs.
