Title: Guidewire Technical Lead
Location: Hartford, CT or Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Start Date: 11/17/2025
Duration: 13 Months
Work Hours: 40.00 Hrs/Wk
Role SummaryAs a Software Development Lead, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for developing and configuring software systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative Guidewire solutions while managing team decisions and stakeholder expectations. This role requires a blend of high-level technical architecture and hands-on mentorship to ensure project goals are met within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs.
- Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
- Responsible for team decisions, managing stakeholders, and contributing to key decisions.
- Guidewire Policy Center:
Expert proficiency (8+ years total experience preferred). - Guidewire Integration:
Advanced proficiency. - Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD):
Expert proficiency recommended. - Technical Leadership: 2-3 years of experience in a lead capacity.
