Guidewire Policy Center Technical Lead

Hartford, CT or Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid - 3 days in office) - open to talent relocating

• Integration Gateway (IG) Mastery:
  Candidate must have hands-on experience with Apache Camel. If they don’t know Camel, they don’t know IG.
• App Events SME:
  Proven experience implementing event-driven patterns and schema designs in recent cloud releases (Oulu, Niseko, or Las Lenas).
• Active APD User:
  They must have used Advanced Product Designer to generate code, entities, and PCFs—not just for high-level product modeling.
• Cloud Certification:
  Must hold a current Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Version certification.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Guidewire Policy Center, Integration, Integration Gateway (IG), and App Events.
• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Policy Center solutions, including product modeling and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and ensure quality delivery.
• Configure and customize APD, product model, rating, underwriting rules, data model, PCF, forms, and code generation.
• Design and implement integrations using IG, REST services, messaging framework, and plugins.
• Implement event-driven integrations with App Events, including schema design and error handling.
• Support Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments and upgrades.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, Dev Ops, and vendors.
• Drive innovation, performance optimization, and reusable integration components.

• Guidewire Policy Center Configuration & Integration, Integration Gateway (IG), App Events
• Hands on development experience with Guidewire Gosu and Advanced Product Designer (APD).

• 8+ years in IT (preferred), 6+ years hands-on Policy Center, 2–3 years as Technical Lead.

• Required:
  
  Guidewire Policy Center Configuration with Cloud version.
• Preferred:
  Policy Center ACE, Integration ACE.
