Overview

Engineering Associates (EA) is looking for a dynamic, experienced, service-oriented Civil Design Technician.

• Design municipal public works projects, prepare and manage project budgets and schedules, prepare construction drawings and specifications, and build client relationships.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members; demonstrate self-motivation.

• Associates degree in civil technology with a minimum of 3 years using Civil 3D or equivalent experience and education
• Extensive Civil 3D design and drafting experience
• The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, a proven track record of engaging clients, a client-focused approach, and a commitment to quality service
• Limited travel is necessary; a valid driver’s license is required

• Duties include designing municipal public works projects, preparing and managing project budgets and schedules, preparing construction drawings and specifications, and building client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills; self-motivation; experience with business development and marketing is valued

• Compensation is based on experience, range is $30 to $35/hour.
• Hourly wage with flex-time and overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly wage
