• Trained to install, test, certify, and maintain Pacifi Corp communications systems including voice and data communication systems: telephone systems, analog and digital microwave radio systems, land mobile radio systems, SCADA and MAS systems, power line carrier equipment, telemetry, tone relay, fiber optics nodes and cable, and associated switching and termination equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot equipment and create detailed work and maintenance reports.
• Work with other company personnel on work assignments.
• Responsible for vehicles, tools, and materials supplied by the Company.

• Two‑year college or technical degree in electronics, or equivalent formal military electronics training.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Windows, internet browsers, Excel).
• Must pass Pacifi Corp’s Electronic Technician Trainee pool exam.
• Valid driver’s license with evidence of a safe driving record.
• Qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
• Ability to perform off‑road travel in extreme weather conditions.

• FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL) with elements 1 & 3.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Previous experience as an electronic or communications technician in a utility environment.
• Winter survival and snow cat training.
