This job order is placed in connection with a concurrent H-2B labor certification application. This job opportunity is a bona fide, F/T temporary position for 7 Cooks from 3/2/2026 to 10/15/2026 with Quin Blair Enterprises, Inc. 1701 Sheridan Ave, Cody, WY 82414 x661.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods from a set menu for the buffet line. Duties include preparing and cooking individual orders, preparing and cooking large quantities of food items for buffet lines and banquet events; keeping food items prepped and stocked during the shift; setting up and breaking down food stations including washing dishes and mopping floors.
Cooks will set up the food items and individual ingredients needed for the shift into the hot and cold holding stations on the line that are needed to prepare/cook the menu items, restocking these items throughout their shift as needed. At the end of the shift, cooks will disassemble the line which includes proper storing, labeling, and refrigerating leftover items that may be used again.
Breaking down the line also involves discarding hot and cold items remaining on the line that may not be used for future shifts. All holding bins will be washed, sanitized and stored properly so they are ready for the next meal shift. Operates ovens, fryers, grills, warming units and dishwashing machines. Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Hours and Pay: 35 hours per week; 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM, 5:00 AM-12:00 PM Mon-Sun; extended daily hours and weekends required. Days and shifts will vary. Workers will work 5 days a week with weekends required. $18.25 per hour; $27.38/OT; overtime is not guaranteed but if worked rate is paid at time and a half per hour above 40 hours per week.
Raise/bonus at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay based on experience/performance. Payroll:
Payday is bi-weekly on the 8th and 22nd of the month.
Housing:
Shared housing available only to seasonal full-time employees, not offered to non-employees. Employees may make their own arrangements at their own expense. If they opt to live in employer provided housing rent (utilities included) charged at $75.00/week. Employer may deduct for reasonable housing cost based on number of occupants for workers who voluntarily elect to live in employer-offered housing.
Travel & Benefits:
Return transportation and daily subsistence paid or provided if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early by employer. Outbound transportation is paid/provided at most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation rates. Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
The employer provides at no charge all required tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.
