Overview
Seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with ASC Level 2 trauma experience to join a well-established group in beautiful northwest Idaho.
Responsibilities- Be part of a group that includes seven surgeons and fourteen APPs covering trauma, total joints, sports medicine, general orthopedics, hand and a same day clinic.
- Provide orthopedic and hand surgery care with an expected average of 4 days of trauma call per month, with alignment of general orthopedics and hand call as desired.
- Operate across two clinic locations (10 miles apart) with a Hand Surgery ASC on one campus.
- Collaborate through a joint operating committee between orthopedic physicians and hospital administration to align goals, policies, procedures, and resources.
- Deliver care in a setting that supports a comprehensive trauma/hand service within the community.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with Hand Surgery specialization (BC/BE Hand Surgeon).
- Experience in ASC Level 2 trauma; willingness to handle trauma responsibilities.
- Consideration given to plastics hand surgeon as well.
