• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions for youth and families.
• Utilize trauma‑oriented, evidence‑based, age‑appropriate therapeutic techniques while working outdoors and around horses.
• Prepare psychotherapy documents encompassing all patient care and ensure mental health forms are complete and accurate.
• Conduct assessments that are consistent with the age group and population involved, demonstrate full understanding, and identify mental health issues.
• Offer equine‑assisted psychotherapy sessions and may schedule sessions in the late afternoon/evenings or on weekends as client needs permit.

• Master’s degree (or higher) in a direct clinical practice field such as social work, psychology, marriage and family counseling, or very closely related field.
• Idaho State Licensure associated with the degree, or ability to obtain prior to hire:
  Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire, as a condition of continued employment.
• Be at least 25 years of age.
