• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, complete, and safeguarded in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Prepare patient charts and gather required information and documents from patients.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and file records electronically in the facility’s database.
• Process medical records for patient admissions and discharges.
• Operate computer, scanner, fax, copier, and use multiple medical software programs.
• Provide backup coverage for Reception and New Patient Coordinator as needed.

• High School Diploma.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
