• Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely alang departure.
• Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring the time schedule.
• Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics related to their interests and preferences.
• Maintaining knowledge of the Spa Menu and products to accurately relay information and provide suggestions on all products and services within the Spa and Wellness Facilities.
• Conducting a thorough health and skincare consultation prior to each service to deliver a personalized experience for each member and guest. Confirming contra‑indications, allergies or any other health or skin‑related conditions prior to providing each service.
• Providing nail services from the Spa Menu for members and guests in accordance with the company’s standards.
• Providing confident post‑treatment care recommendations, as well as offering support to members and guests within the retail area.
• Developing professional client relationships with members to build rapport and promote additional spa treatments, products, packages, special promotions and other events.
• Maintaining treatment records and knowledge of care plans to continually support health and wellness programs.
• Maintaining member and guest confidentiality.
• Keeping working areas organized, clean, and sanitary per state board regulations.
• Complying with State Health and Wellness regulations.
• Completing all opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly side work, including service room organization and cleaning, maintaining linens and laundry, and wellness area care.
• Monitoring the status of all spa equipment, tools and venue and immediately notifying the Spa Manager if there is any maintenance or repair required.
• Assisting the team with taking appointments, scheduling, answering questions and calls.
• Professionally handling and discreetly informing supervisor or member complaints or inappropriate guest behavior.
• Adhering to uniform and appearance standards.
• Assisting other Wellness team members with spa operations.

• State licensure to practice as a Massage Therapist.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degrees and certifications preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years experience as a Massage Therapist or Spa/Beauty Therapist.
• Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs, preferred.
• Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly personality.
• Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product lines.
• Deep knowledge of skin care techniques. Specialized treatment knowledge and experience highly preferred.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible hours/schedule including evenings, weekends Sujet and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
