Position Summary

The Hospitality Services Manager provides dynamic leadership and operational oversight for patient and guest food services experiences. This role is responsible for driving business development, enhancing service delivery, and fostering a culture of excellence across all hospitality service lines. The manager is directly responsible for the patient service experience, retail operations, ensuring high standards of care satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Manages financial resources, develops long-term plans and goals, leads initiatives, focuses on patient and guest quality experience, and expands current retail service outlets
  • Functions effectively within the organization to assist with change, secures needed resources, develops staff and works collaboratively with other service lines creating a positive experience
  • Effectively manages retail supervisor and hospitality services supervisor
  • Utilizes Mircos POS system monitoring revenue and expenses, and understands department wide software interface capabilities
  • Oversees customer service training for Guest Relation Associates, Baristas, and Hospitality Service Associates
  • Enhances brand development for patient service line, retail service outlets, working within budgets as needed, and partners with Executive Chef on food cost percentages for retail environment
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required within 3 years of hire
  • Minimum 4 years’ related experience required
  • 3 years’ leadership experience required
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification required or obtained within 1 year of hire
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement
  • Computer literacy with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Windows
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage diverse teams
  • Customer service excellence with proven ability to create positive patient, guest, and customer experience
