Tiello is proud to represent a premier commercial roofing contractor in their search for a Vice President of Operations to oversee all aspects of operations, execution, and strategic expansion across the Northwest. This is an opportunity for a senior operations leader who has built, scaled, and led complex construction operations in excess of $50 million annually, while managing and developing teams of 70+ employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

• Lead all commercial roofing operations, including project execution, field production, and delivery
• Standardize and implement operational best practices to drive quality, schedule, and profitability
• Develop SOPs that support sustainable growth and workforce scaling

Strategic Growth

• Build and execute a scalable operations plan aligned with the company’s national growth objectives
• Identify and solve operational bottlenecks across departments and regions
• Partner with leadership to open new markets and expand service offerings
• Directly oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Operations staff
• Build a strong leadership bench by mentoring and developing high-potential talent
• Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting across all active operations
• Own operational KPIs and reporting with a focus on margin improvement and risk management
• Collaborate with ownership and finance teams to drive data-informed decisions

Technology & Process Improvement

• Introduce systems to improve project tracking, scheduling, and communications
• Leverage construction tech and data analytics to modernize operations
• Drive change management as new processes and systems are implemented

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing $50M+ in commercial roofing or construction operations
• Track record of overseeing 70+ team members, with strong leadership and team development skills
• Background in commercial roofing preferred; other construction leadership considered if scalable experience is strong
• Deep understanding of safety, quality, and field execution best practices
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning capabilities
• Comfortable implementing systems, structure, and scalable infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
