Hospital Supervisor

• Schedule/Shift/Hours Part Time - Days - 12 Hour Shifts

Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management.

• Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise
• Responsible to be a clinical and service resource, to ensure appropriate patient placement, supervise clinical activities, maintain disaster training skills, and coordinate safe and appropriate patient care between all departments and disciplines
• Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

• BSN or relevant Bachelor’s degree required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho
• Minimum 3 years’ acute care experience required
• Minimum of 1-year charge nurse or relevant leadership experience required
• BLS required
• Crisis prevention training, or must acquire within 6 months of employment, required

• Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
• Must be able to push, pull or transport heavy equipment
