Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 3 years Cath Lab experience and on‑call availability.

• Active RN license (Idaho state license or multistate compact license) required,  compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of patient‑facing RN experience required at time of hire
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• ADN or diploma required, BSN preferred
• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
• Competency in procedural sedation, cardiac medication administration, and cardiac monitoring required
• Must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, crouch, bend, and assist with patient transfers
• Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment

• Acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma facility
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit caring for cath lab patient population
• Day shift schedule: four 10‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday
• Uses EPIC EMR
• On‑call availability required for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Call requirement includes a minimum 3‑hour call‑back with onsite arrival in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes of being called in
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for Cath Lab patients
• Communicate professionally across multiple departments to ensure safe patient care
• Report changes in patient status to physicians and respond confidently to emergent situations
• Exercise critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in daily patient care
• Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
