We are seeking a FLORAL/CLERK at Fred Meyer
. This role supports the design, merchandising, and customer service functions for floral items and arrangements.

• Aide in the design and merchandising of floral items and arrangements for display/sale or to meet customer requests.
• Provide various customer services.

• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Handle telephone calls and order inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Package orders effectively, safely, and efficiently.
• Keep merchandise and supplies in their proper areas and maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Maintain customers’ records and files properly.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting items.
• Assist in the design and creation of floral arrangements and/or other items to fill customer orders.
• Maintain plants, process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multi‑task, set priorities, present information professionally, and work with all levels of the organization.
