Position Summary

We are looking for a service‑oriented, client‑focused Sales Consultant. Key outcomes include delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring remarkable client experiences, promoting client loyalty, contributing to salon revenue targets, and upholding our 100% Cleanliness Guarantee.

Objectives
  • Provide outstanding customer service, going above and beyond for each client.
  • Drive client retention and loyalty by addressing them by first name and making them feel welcomed and valued.
  • Create wellness plans for clients, matching them with the appropriate autopay plan and products.
  • Meet daily KPIs such as Per Client Average, Member Conversion Percentage, and salon sales targets.
  • Promote salon services, upcoming events, and retail products to hit targets.
  • Maintain salon cleanliness to our 100% Cleanliness Guarantee standards.
  • Be a contributing member of the sales team in revenue, culture, and brand image.
  • Enforce and follow all state and federal regulations around sunbed use and UV exposure.
  • Uphold Slick Rock Tanning & Spa’s core values.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Willingness to learn and understand salon services, clients, procedures, and policies.

  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
  • Service‑oriented mindset and the ability to remain calm when resolving client grievances.
  • Reliability and punctuality, ensuring work responsibilities are covered if absent.

  • Proficient computer skills and a deep understanding of MS Office Suite, Windows, Google Suite, or similar software programs.

  • Sound judgment and the ability to explain reasoning for decisions.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of customer‑service experience required.
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, or kneeling.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs at a time.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $16.50 – $18 per hour DOE + commission.
On‑target earnings: $19 – $30 per hour (includes commission).
