Montana Food Equipment is growing, and we are looking for several experienced service technicians to help us expand into the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington markets
.

We are an established and growing commercial food equipment service company providing repair, maintenance, installation, and support for commercial kitchens and food service operations. Our technicians work on everything from cooking equipment and dish machines to refrigeration, ice machines, food prep equipment, scales, slicers, and more.

We aren't looking to simply put another service van on the road. We are looking for skilled technicians who want to help us establish and grow our presence in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.

As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial food equipment for restaurants, grocery stores, institutional kitchens, convenience stores, and other food service customers.

Equipment may include:

• Commercial refrigeration and ice machines
• Ovens, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi ovens
• Commercial dishwashers and warewashing equipment
• Mixers, slicers, scales, wrappers, and food-prep equipment
• Walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers
• Other commercial kitchen and food service equipment

You'll work independently in the field while being supported by our dispatch, parts, service management, and technical teams.

We are interested in experienced technicians from several backgrounds, including:

• Commercial food equipment repair
• Commercial refrigeration
• HVAC/R
• Restaurant equipment service
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Commercial appliance repair

You do not need to know every piece of equipment we service. If you have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, a good attitude, and a willingness to continue learning, we want to talk with you.

EPA 608 certification is preferred for refrigeration technicians. CFESA certifications, factory training, and previous OEM experience are also a plus.
