Racquet Instructor

Racquet Instructor at Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club

• Provides personal and group racquet lessons (pickleball, Padé, or tennis)
• Facilitates group classes
• Demonstrates skills and provides clear instructions
• Develops professional client relationships with members to build rapport
• Designs and effectively implements individualized and small group racquet programs tailored to the needs and goals of clients
• Assists fitness attendants in maintaining the appearance of the racquet center and other fitness areas, including stocking and re‑stocking items such as towels, food, and beverage displays
• Maintains cleanliness of the racquet center and equipment
• Reports any safety or maintenance concerns immediately
• Stays current on all activities offered and equipment related to recreational activities

• College degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field preferred
• Valid racquet experience required, both teaching and playing
• Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications
• Proven experience designing individual and small group programs
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Desire and passion to help clients reach their racquet goals through appropriate training
• Extensive knowledge of human anatomy and concepts of functional exercise, as they relate to racquet sports, basic nutrition, and fundamental principles of exercise science
• Commitment to staying up to date on racquet best practices

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required due to business demands
• Team player
• Ability to remain calm and focused during the busiest times
• Strong English language skills; additional languages preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and moving for periods exceeding eight (8) hours, and lifting/carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds, in all weather conditions
