King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas
, the flagship school of the King’s Group, is seeking a dedicated and caring Part-Time House Parent to support our boarding students. This role is ideal for someone already fulfilling a teaching or other role within the school, or with coaching responsibilities, who wishes to contribute to the pastoral care of our boarders.

The House Parent will help ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Accommodation is provided as part of the role, and the position involves some evening and weekend duties.

• Provide pastoral care and supervision for boarding students in the house.
• Support students’ welfare, wellbeing, and personal development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe boarding environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, house staff, and other school colleagues.
• Support students in managing routines, study time, and co-curricular activities.
• Participate in evening and weekend supervision duties as required.
• Serve as a positive role model for students, upholding the school’s values and ethos.

• Experience working with children or teenagers in a pastoral, educational, or residential setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to support students’ emotional and social development effectively.
• Commitment to promoting the ethos and values of a British international school.
