Position Name:
Senior Embedded Audio Engineer Generic Embedded Firmware Development

Skills:

• Excellent Programming Skills in C
• Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architecture like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors etc.
• Working experience of on bare metal, RTOS, device driver development
• Working experience of architecting embedded systems
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good debugging skills and hands on with coding and tool usage
• Linux Kernel programming skills, device driver embedded systems experience as added advantage
• Technical depth in acoustics, electronics and DSP
• Basic understanding on physics of sound and acoustic transducer/component parameters and test methods
• Working with audio data handling/processing from microphone
• Knowledge of audio test systems/equipment/tools for Audio performance and quality testing (e.g., Audio Weaver, ACQUA, Soundcheck, Audio Precision, etc.)
• Familiar with digital audio interfaces/formats (SPDIF, I2S, PCM, PDM, TDM)
• Test/verification of electrical design for high volume audio product

• Experience performing design verification for high‑volume products in an engineering lab environment would be a plus
• DSP software development approaches and knowledge would be plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Direct customer (US or Europe based) interaction will be added advantage
• Write high quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast‑paced Agile environment
• Participate in feature and design discussions within and across teams
• Evangelize and inform with well‑written design documents and conduct peer reviews
• Review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug the hardest problems live on some of the most innovative IoT devices
