Salary: $55,000-$80,000
Reports To:
Clinical Nutrition Manager
The RD will cover adult inpatient units including the ICU; ICU experience is preferred but training is available, so new grads are encouraged to apply. The facility can offer an employment visa for qualified candidates, including H-1B and TN visas.
Other forms of compensation include meal plan, CEUs, AND and CDR dues paid, and tuition and education reimbursement.

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Springfield, IL.
Key Responsibilities- Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Follows guidelines in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while upholding HIPAA, patient rights, and confidentiality
- Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required
- One (1) year hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software
