The incumbent will provide Planning for relevant categories of products for Japan and be responsible for ensure the best possible product availability for customer service and sales support throughout the Company, at the lowest cost.
Your responsibilities- Stock level management for the appropriate category, ensure appropriate Stock level control to support customer service and achieve business objectives for sales and Stock level
- Propose supply development
- Daily control of 3rd party business arrangements for inbound freight and operations
- Third party & Inter Group planning using information from Demand planning and Procurement
- Ensure the cost effective and Import
- Maintain database of planning information to monitor vendors performance
- Propose improvement /re-engineering processes to create a flexible responsible supply chain and excellent customer service at a low cost
- Provision of information to Sales and Marketing on product availability, feasibility of promotions and other actions.
- Review and update inventory data and latest sales information between internal/3rd party systems as well as tools to monitor product availability to ensure required service level.
- Ensure value added to planning through close discussions and monitoring with continuous inputs from Demand Planning.
- Collect, monitor, record and update system with data relevant to 3rd party planning, ensuring that the data is credible and retrievable.
- Drive improvements within the 3rd party/IG (PO) process to contribute towards the achievement of the optimization of the process, customer service and supply chain efficiencies and inventory level reductions.
- Ensure alignment between manufacturing production plans and the unconstrained demand plans and challenge suppliers where demand is at risk.
- Support annual budget process and reviews as required by the business.
- Monitoring of vender performance related to promotional activities and events before, during and after the indicated periods.
- Work with sales and marketing to ensure reduction in an obsolescence level on promotional materials and finished goods
- Negotiate freight & landed (import/export) costs for all imported finished goods and ensure optimization of container utilization.
- Control import/export materials and Finished Goods (RM/PM)
- Control Freight-in cost for importing.
- Compilation and interpretation of Vender performance measures.
- Supply planning qualification (Planning, Purchasing, Inventory management, Inbound tracking) - Minumum 3 years
- Data management, material and capacity planning, customs clearance
- Progressive Planning / Logistics management experience, preferably in a FMCG planning environment - Minumum 3 years
- Sense of responsibility, urgency and result oriented
