** JOB SUMMARY The Household Manager has the primary responsibility of overseeing and coordinating day-to-day household operations and family activities for the Frith residence.  The position’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: household expense and budget management; facility and housekeeping services management; coordination and scheduling of child care services; family scheduling; linen care and garment care; and errands.  Incumbent will promote a positive and engaging work environment through effective, consistent and professional communication with staff,  principals, vendors, and internal departments.  

The Household Manager will also ensure standards of quality and service are consistently emphasized, met, and maintained while ensuring a safe work environment.  The candidate may be responsible for more than one home and provide continuity between homes or properties, and will provide general assistance and support for residents as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
1. Manages day-to-day operations of the household; serves as primary contact for all residence needs and requests.  
2. Coordinates child care services; provides child care services as necessary.
3. Coordinates daily housekeeping duties; weekly/monthly/quarterly deep cleaning schedule with Facility Services team; ensures all furniture, fixtures, and equipment are operational.  
4. Arranges for meal prep 3-4 times per week with Frith Demi-Chef; coordinates with F&B, Catering, and other estate departments on special events and functions.  
5. Ensures all interior/exterior furniture, fixtures, and equipment are well-maintained.  
6. Maintains household family schedule and budget in conjunction with principals.  
7. Liaises with Museum Services and Facility Services teams on care and preservation of items in the collection.  
8. Coordinates and executes social calendar and logistics for special events, entertainment, and functions.  
9. Anticipates, addresses, and troubleshoots repair, maintenance, and other issues; will be a key contact for emergencies and other urgent needs.  10. Coordination of pool, landscaping, and equine care duties/responsibilities.  11. Manages monthly/annual household budget and expenses on behalf of principals.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conducts household inventory and purchases.
2. Provides general assistance and support in the operation of family and household activities, including special projects as assigned.  
3. Driving duties as required; maintain scheduled upkeep of household automobiles.
4. Works with Security and Emergency Management teams to develop response plans for a variety of scenarios to include emergency repairs, etc.  5. Wine, liquor, and beer cellar inventory and management.  
6. Wardrobe and linen management, organization, and care.  
7. Light cooking and meal prep as needed.  
8. Will be on-call and serve as a primary point of contact for emergency situations occurring at the residence.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma (or GED) required. Additional education or training strongly preferred. Ability to obtain Serv Safe, CPR, First Aid, and APR certification(s).  2. Minimum of five (5) years related experience in a similar role. Equivalent combination of education/experience considered.

Experience with the management of historic buildings/structures preferred.
3. Outstanding interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and motivational skills; builds and maintains positive working relationships with other departments; represents principals in a professional, hospitable, and polished manner.
